When it comes to getting infected by animals, bats are the number one species. Since bats are highly genetically connected to human beings, it increases the odds of transmission with the help of these mammals. The fruit bats eat seeds and pollen from flowers. These bats are called frugivores. Their favourite foods are figs, mangoes, dates, and bananas.
Nipah Virus also comes in the same category of diseases causing by animals. The virus is spread to humans who have direct touch with animals that are infected, like fruit bats or pigs. It can also spread between people, often who are staying in one room and caretakers of people who are infected.
