Meaning Of High Concept Idea in Screenwriting

 The high concept refers to any thought: bike design, toothpaste, cooking, comic books, novels, and movies—the list is endless. High concept is regarding essence; that instinctive thing that seizes you by the scruff of the nape and doesn’t let go. From a writing prospect, a story notion that is high concept captures the reader’s or viewer’s vision, stimulates their senses, get’s them to examine “what if,” and sparks them to begin visualizing the story even before they have rendered a word. The high concept encourages the commercial book business, as well as the cinema and television businesses.
