United Phosphorous (UPL) is a producer of crop protection products, intermediates, specialty chemicals and other industrial chemicals, was incorporated in the year 1969. Being 11th largest agrochemical company in the world. It is amongst the top five post–patent agrochemical manufacturers in the world.
UPL has its Corporate Headquarters in Bandra(E), Mumbai. It offers wide range of products and has developed more than 100 insecticides, fumigants, rodenticides, fungicides PGR and herbicides.
The World CSR Congress listed UPL among 'Most Caring Companies Award 2014’ Great place to work in India and Brazil.
