India's Friend Country Maldives’s Policies Against India

The paradise of islands “Maldives” has been undergoing the political and economical crisis ever since it’s president Yameen Abdul Gayoom declared a state of emergency. He is attempting to continue ruling as a superior authority, despite court opposition. As a result Prime Minister Narendra Modi skipped Maldives in his Indian Ocean tour.
